Description

California Spell is a magnificent son of Champion sire Snitzel, he was a $550k Easter yearling.

California Spell has been very slow to mature and therefore lightly raced, he is sound and has shown good ability at times finishing 3rd and 4th on the strong NSW provincial circuit.

California Spell would make an ideal horse for a country stable he has had 10 starts for thirds at Newcastle and Morphettville Parks..

He is generally very good to handle but does need an experienced rider.

The ownership group have decided to move him on to make way for younger horses coming through.

California Spell has been spelling since 7June 2020.
