Description
Update 1 - X-Rays, taken on 21 January have been lodged in the Inglis X-Ray Repository. Deemed low risk by our vet but there for your vet to assess. The filly has also been scoped and given the all clear.

Standout filly by Odyssey Moon from proven Group 1 producing mare
By emerging sire Odyssey Moon, this striking brown filly is a dead ringer for her sire, out of the proven Group 1 producing Woodman mare, Clever Clogs.
Genuinely, we believe, one for the astute and timely buyer. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this filly but as a small breeder, we simply don't carry sufficient clout (nor is the filly by a 1st season stallion) to get into Book 1 of the sales and we're not keen on the late season secondary sales. That shouldn't preclude giving the filly every chance to go to a savvy buyer in a timely manner and be given every opportunity to develop as a young racehorse.
The filly is currently a half to 6 winners including dual G1 winning Golden Gunner (Macau) and dual G1 placed Danpaoshaq with four (4) of Clever Clogs’ other progeny producing 15 wins between them for an aggregate 33 wins. That may improve further with Luke Oliver trained Fuzz Buzz, another sibling, recording two smashing come from the back 3rds, and nominated for a start during this auction where she has every chance to break her maiden.

Multiple group and stakes performed Odyssey Moon has to be one of the most under-rated sons of Snitzel standing at stud. With his first runner, the Chris Munce trained Berdini’s Girl, a dominant debut 2YO winner and just the two of Odyssey Moon's progeny to race producing a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 3 starts this stallion won't fly under the radar for long.
With Odyssey Moon standing at Twin Hills (NSW) and the breeders Victorian based, she is both BOBS and VOBIS eligible.
Standing at just shy of 15 hands, the filly is a cracking type with all the physical attributes to make an early 2YO.
This is a genuinely regretful sale as we simply are not resourced to breed and race entirely on our own, but would happily take a share if her new owners decide to syndicate her - we're that confident she's got the goods to make a genuine racehorse. Offered with a not unreasonable reserve
