Rhymes demonstrated her racetrack ability by running third in Australia’s richest maiden on the Gold Coast, motoring home from 15th on the turn to finish just 1.3L from the winner in 1:10.15 over 1200m, before scoring an easy 1.4L win at Newcastle over the same trip at her next start.
The lightly raced mare banked $84k from just 10 starts, compiling 2 wins and 4 placings during her three-year-old campaign.
Rhymes is a half-sister to 6 winners, including Group 3 winner Savoureux (6 wins & $391,485).
