Description
Young well related Bernardini mare, Ringing Bell, in foal to hot young sire FROSTED.
Gorgeous unraced mare, Ringing Bell, stands at 16hh. She is correct and strong with a lovely temperament. Her first foal by Kermadec, is a big, strong, correct filly and a great first foal destined for a yearling sale in 2022.
The mating of Ringing Bell with Frosted looks outstanding on paper (AAA+). The sires of both Frosted and Ringing Bell, that being Tapit and Bernardini, share very similar genetics being bred on the very successful A P Indy and Fappiano cross. Also, interesting to note is that the first winner for Frosted in the US carries multiple duplications of Seattle Slew which are present in this mating to Ringing Bell.
There is plenty of upside with this mare as she is in foal to the exciting Darley stallion FROSTED. His first season 20/21 progeny have set the track alight with 5 winners from just 15 starters including 2 individual stakes winners in Australia. Frosted started with a bang, as Ingratiating burst onto the scene winning the Listed Maribynong Trial. Ingratiating (2ye old season earnings $849,000), came back in the autumn to win the Listed Talindert Stakes before running a slashing second on the Blue Diamond. Frosted also sired a quinella in the Listed Dequettville Stakes with Cloudy defeating Translation. Cloudy went on to win the group 3 Breeders Stakes at Morphettville.
Ringing Bell is by Bernardini, who became the youngest ever stallion to reach 50 individual stakes winners as a broodmare sire internationally.
