Description
THE CROWN is a very sweet mare who gives no trouble or issue at home or on the track. She is an easy ride for anyone and does all she can to help you and herself. She is a neat and quite attractive mare.
She has always shown good ability at home but has taken some time to mature and come to her job. She did everything right at her first start to record a strong win & give notice that there are more wins in store for her. She was likely just over the top and in need of a break at her second start when she jumped up in class and weight at her next start where she actually gave weight to the more experienced winner. Her performance was good, she was beaten a little over a length for second and if you can just give her another 4 or 6 weeks spell she will come back and win races for you. Her current owners have done all of the hard yards looking after her for you and you can now take the benefit of their patience with her.
She is nice and sound and been well looked after her whole life. She is owned by a large stud and she doesn't fit with their requirements for their broodmare band when she finishes racing but she might well suit someone else.
Her pedigree is one that is very easy to mate as she is by the under rated stallion HALLOWED CROWN who sired the Oaks winner COLLETTE and is from a MORE THAN READY mare from a fast family.
