Description
Great opportunity presents here with race winning Artie Schiller mare Baby Farrah with her gorgeous filly foal at foot by Al Maher being sold as a package deal.
Baby Farrah is a winning Artie Schiller mare whose dam is by the all conquering Zabeel who has become a champion broodmare sire. Her dam Zanova is a half sister to the multiple NZ group 1 winner in Sacred Star. She has a great pedigree to breed with being free of Danehill blood, so a lovely outcross and El Prado being the speed influence of Sadlers Wells always works well here in Australia.
Baby Farrah is empty after getting in foal this season, but having twins on her 1st scan which one was squeezed, she then reabsorbed on the 2nd scan.
She will be ready to breed with next season and is an easy mare to get in foal.
She is a very good style of mare being 16.1hh with good conformation, easy to do anything with ie the crush, farrier, float etc.
She does leave a lovely foal as can be evidenced by the Al Maher filly and the progeny from her 2nd dam Irish Nova have sold particularly well at yearling sales, having sold up to $520,000 AUD. This gives you great confidence that Baby Farrah will be a good producer, and provide the opportunity to sell the progeny at the sales.
Her filly foal by Al Maher is a well conformed good sort, as can be seen from the photos and video provided. Al Maher yearlings at the 2021 yearling sales averaged $65,000 AUD.
