Description

Chambery will be sold unreserved, as owners are keen to reduce numbers and make way for the new.

Patrick Payne was able to get Chambery racing as a late 2yo where she was competitive and showed ability. Chambery's best race was her second start in the $100k 2yo Vobis Gold Strike and only lost by 2.95L to some handy horses.

In her sole 3yo prep, she had one start with Patrick before we relocated her to trainer Ash McKnight. The plan was to get her out in trip (where her siblings have done their best work), but after her last start, it looked like she had done too much this prep, was up for a long time and needed a spell.

Chambery is now boxed and spelling at Oakford farm located in Maldon. Any inspections and checks are welcome.

Chambery is a full sister to Savoie - Group 2 placed (over 2000m). She would make a solid broodmare for a race-breeder operation.
