NAHEMA is an attractive New Zealand-bred mare by PER INCANTO who is a five-time winner and stakes placed, having run second in the G2 Matamata Breeders’ Stakes. She is a half-sister to the stakes winning HAMMER DOWN (by O’REILLY) who won the G3 Cambridge Breeders’ Stakes and a further two stakes placings for $260,000 in prize money.
NAHEMA’s dam OUR PRIZED ROSE is a four-time winner and is the dam of 11 foals, all raced for 10 winners. A highly consistent family, it includes the stakes winner WILLOW VALE who won the G3 Manawatu Breeders’ Stakes and is the dam of Joint NZ Filly of the year in that of PLUME who had an amazing 12 career wins including the G1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas, G2 ARC Bluebird Foods Trophy, the G3 Ladies Mile and G3 Royal Stakes; amongst a further 11 stakes wins and placings.
NAHEMA has a lovely strong ROYAL MEETING colt on the ground and her 2yo filly by RUSSIAN REVOLUTION is showing plenty of promise in the stable of Robbie Griffiths and Mathew De Kock at Cranbourne. She is in full work and won her most recent jump out on the 4th of April.

MICROPHONE needs no introduction having been crowned Champion 2yo in Australia by the world’s best 2yo stallion in that of EXCEED AND EXCEL and hails from the family of the super sire WRITTEN TYCOON. MICROPHONE won the G1 Sires’ Produce Stakes defeating the likes of CASTELVECCHIO, LOVING GABY and PROBABEEL and ran unlucky seconds in both the G1 Golden Slipper and G1 Randwick Guineas.
