Description
We are offering for sale this beautifully bred Cape Cross mare "Off and On" in Foal with a COLT to up and coming sire sensation Churchill.
She in turn was bred by the champion breeder Sir Patrick Hogan and carries a proven NZ family line. This family carries a Derby winner in Shootoff and S/W's Le Remas and Yuppie.
The foal in utero is closely bred on a similar cross to Champion "Sea the Stars" not to mention the successful Galileo/Cape Cross nick.
Her 7th foal by Pariah has been retained to be raced by her breeders to stay in the family. Her 6th foal a 3yo by Teofilo is just about to embark on his racing career being a 12th November foal.
Off and On has had 7 live foals, 3 to race all winners in Australia. She has had colts sell up to $170,000 in the sales ring. She is being sold reluctantly as the breeders are cutting back on their breeding commitments both here and in NZ.
Photos are available of the last two yearlings please send a request.
