Description
This Grunt Colt is out of the G3 winning Bradbury’s Luck mare, Col ‘N’ Lil.
Col ‘N’ Lil was a very versatile race mare, she claimed her 8 victories over distances of 1200m –
2200m. She won the G3 BRC Lord Mayers and Listed Weetwood H, with additional placings in the G2
The Roses Stakes, L Tails H and L Gold Coast Bracelet.
This colt was bred on the Redoute’s Choice x O’Reilly cross that has proved to be incredibly
successful on the racetrack. It has produced 129 winners, 13 SW, 10 GW and 4 individual G1 winners
including SACRED FALLS (4x G1 winner), SHOUT THE BAR (x2 G1 winner), STRATUM STAR (x2 G1
winner) and EL PATRONESS (2022 G1 Australian Oaks winner). Other recent successful group
winners include SPLINTEX, ESPINOA and PRAGUE.
By our foundation stallion Grunt (NZ) who stands his fourth season this year. His first yearlings made
a huge impression at the 2022 sales, selling for up to $300,000 and averaging over $100,000 at the
Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
His first 2-year-olds will emerge this spring from top stables including Ciaron Maher & David Eustace
