Description
Shabalala is an attractive, well balanced 3YO Starcraft gelding and presents an opportunity to tap into classic winning staying bloodlines - his dam Durban is a full sister to ATC Australian Derby winner Ethipoia.and he is a full sister Naivasha (2nd Listed Cranbourne Cup) - She improved with age.
Both are inbred to an Epsom Oaks winner in Carroza. He has a top class English female family which includes Blandford and Sun Charriot.
This gelding has been a slow maturer, has worked well in his track gallops but just needs to learn to let down in his races - he is currently having a short spell and is ready to go on with. Shabalala is VOBIS Gold nominated which is an added bonus for any owner after a well bred stayer. He is very easy to handle due to his great temperament and has no issues to report.
This horse is offered as part of a reduction sale by Wyadup Valley Farms. Tried horses that we have sold through Inglis include Zagaya, Shangani Patrol and North Afrika each won in excess of $200k.
