Description
Stunning mare by Exceed and Excel out of Grp 3 winner Ashley’s Kitty, offered in foal to leading sire Toronado. She will be a quality addition to the top of any Broodmare band.
This mare boasts a truely international pedigree that is consistently upgrading.
Speedy Kitty herself was a $230,000 purchase from the 2018 Magic Millions mare sale.
She offers breeders access to a mare that will produce you a foal capable of going to Easter or Magic Millions.
Her first three foals to date have realised the following:
Deep Field ex Speedy Kitty 19 sold for $375,000 at the 2020 MM Gold Coast Yearling sale sold to Brad Widdup. Named Deft Leopard he has placed in town as a 2yo and was a stunning physical (photos and video attached)
Street Boss ex Speedy Kitty 20 sold for $170,000 at the 2021 MM Weanling Sale and subsequently sold at the 2022 Inglis Easter for $235,000 (photos and video attached)
Pride of Dubai ex Speedy Kitty 21 sold recently at the 2022 MM Weanling Sale for $55,000 and is the highest priced Pride of Dubai Weanling to go through the sale ring this year.
This mare has produced 3 exceptional foals and will not doubt produce a beautiful foal by Toronado
As a type she is an excellent physical with a beautiful head, great depth of girth and strong hindquarter. She has consistently thrown these attributes into all of her foals. She also has a beautiful nature and is lovely to have around the farm. All three of her progeny have adapted the same nature and have been a pleasure to prepare.
She has no vices, is excellent to trim, transport and very easy in the crush and breeding shed. She went in foal to Toronado on one cover in 2021.
Weanlings by Toronado have sold in excess of $260,000. With Toroanado having a top yearling price of $850,000 at the Easter Yearling sale in 2022. His progeny will be well sort in future and is now standing with an increased fee of $88,000.
This young mare in foal to Toronado offers an elite prospect.
Swettenham will also offer a free return on this should no live foal be produced. The stallion is again fully booked for the 2022 season and is becoming one of Australia’s hottest young sires. He is headlined by Shelby SixtySix, Masked Crusader and is now getting a host of international winners to further boost his credentials. Notably he appears to have no sex bias producing an equal amount of stakeswinners between his colts and fillies.
Toronado leaves an excellent physical with great strength, bone, quality heads and temperaments and will only continue to rise with the books that he has covered in the past two seasons.
