Description
HASSTOBEGOOD - Offered as a racing & breeding prospect
HASSTOBEGOOD was held in high regard during her three-year-old season in New Zealand. At 2, she finished 2nd in the 1200m Group 3 Woburn Classic behind Miss Federer, who would finish her career as a 4 x stakes winner. On a path towards the Karaka Millions, HASSTOBEGOOD finished 4th in the 1400m Group 3 Bonecrusher Stakes, which was won by Riodini (now 2 x Group 1 placed), and 3rd in the 1400m Listed Uncle Remus Stakes behind Group 1 performers Travelling Light and Harlech. HASSTOBEGOOD then went on to finish 3rd in the 1600m Listed Karaka Million 3YO Classic, taken out by Champion mare Probabeel. As a 4yo, she once again showed her terrific turn-of-foot at Flemington, running away a dominant four-length city winner.
HASSTOBEGOOD is a strong mare with good quality, standing around 16 hands high. She has always been a lovely mover and is very easy to handle. Footage of her on parade following her last run has been enclosed. Having spent a fortnight in the paddock at the end of May, she does look quite wintery in the coat but is feeling very well in herself.
HASSTOBEGOOD is from a very good New Zealand family. She is by Per Incanto, one of New Zealand's most elite sires. She is out of 4 x winning mare Don't Dilly Dally, a daughter of Joint NZ Filly of the Year Plume, who was successful at stakes level on 9 occasions. She presents as an ideal option for breeders looking for a Danefill free mare this season.
Following her run at the Kensington track on June 29, the mare pulled up without issue. She trotted out freely before being moved to Jazcom Thoroughbreds on July 7, awaiting the result of her sale.
