Description
Daichi is a lightly raced 4YO gelding who is trained by Peter & Paul Snowden at Randwick. In his 9 careers starts to date he has won once and placed on a further 4 occasions.
Daichi is beautifully bred, being by the Champion Second Season Sire in Maurice and out of a half-sister to Able Friend, the Horse of the Year and Champion Miler in Hong Kong. Daichi is a consistent performer and one capable of racing on all types of surfaces. He suffered a bleed from both nostrils for the first time in his race at Newcastle on 14 May, 2022 which made him then subject to the provisions of AR79 under the Rules of Racing of Racing NSW (please refer to the rules of racing on racingnsw.com.au for full details). Daichi is now back in full training and is scheduled to most likely barrier trial at Randwick on Tuesday, 13 September, 2022.
