Outstanding opportunity to buy Group-related maiden mare
Savvy breeders have a wonderful opportunity to add a winning full-sister to a multiple stakes performer to their breeding band. This family’s broodmares have shown an ability to produce black-type performers regularly and five-year-old mare Alverio is a strong chance to continue this tradition.
A winner over 1450m and placed in 50% of her race starts, Alverio is a daughter of unraced KING’S CHAPEL mare RITA MORENO, who is half-sister to Group 2 winner NATALIE WOOD (dam of MALUCKYDAY) and black-type winner RICHARD BEYMER.
By gun son of superstar stallion O’REILLY, in Newmarket Handicap winner SHAMEXPRESS, Alverio is bred on the same cross as Group 3 winner EMBRACE ME.
Her full-sister is multiple black-type performer and Group 2 placed Maracana, who showed outstanding ability through last Spring in her first racing preparation. Minor injuries have held her out of recent racing, however trainer Danny O’Brien is expecting her to bounce back early next year.
Her unraced three-year-old full-brother Sellier performed strongly in an August Geelong jump out and he is expected to hit the track in the coming weeks so there is positive signs her immediate pedigree could be further enhanced this racing season.
