Here’s an opportunity like any good Shiraz that will only get better with age.

He’s only been to the races once and ran in a strong Sale Maiden, over-racing from a wide barrier and covering too much ground.

The winner, an expensive yearling, was a $1.7 chance who sat 2nd and held off the second favorite who possied up 3rd, it was a race dominated from the front by the best horses where this big boy was exposed wide and back and just too new to the racing game. You can watch here:

The quinella pair went straight to Moonee Valley for their next start in BM64 grade and each ran 4th, so it suggests that was a strong race.

The stable tipped him straight out without issue other than noting his mental and physical immaturity. Jamie Mott rode him at Sale and suggested he would learn a lot from a debut racing experience and would be better in time stepping up in distance.

So here is the chance to tap straight into a well natured colt that has been given all the necessary education and time to get him to the races as an early season 3YO, have that experience, have a month’s rest and ready to come back straight back and get on with his career.

A large ownership group are sorting out their racing portfolio’s hence this opportunity is a real one for a a gelding who has his entire racing career ahead of him.

Whilst all endeavour is taken to provide any relevant details about the horse, an independent veterinary inspection is always welcomed but as suggested, he came through his debut without issue and the expectation that a month off was to his short- and long-term benefit. He is ready to come straight back into the stables now.
