Description

ASVA is a lightly raced Maiden 3YO gelding sired by CAPITALIST o/o DYLAN THOMAS mare, FIRST BLOOM. He has had five race starts to date for four placings including three of those at NSW metropolitan level.

He was last seen racing at Wyong on the 7th of January 2023 and after a good spell along with a gelding procedure, ASVA has been back in full work at Royal Randwick since the 27th of February 2023.

ASVA was a $100,000 Karaka Yearling Sale purchase in 2021 by Snowden Racing. He is a half brother to the formerly Snowden trained EXOBOOM (Exosphere) who reached incredible heights once gelded before his untimely passing.

ASVA is a beautifully put together individual with racing upside. Still a Maiden and now a gelding, we expect ASVA to measure up at the metropolitan level of NSW like he has done before as a colt.

Please note a medium sized fragment at the distal intermediate ridge of the tibia (DIRT) of the left hock was removed and neighbouring tissues were debrided where appropriate in February 2021. (Report attached)
