Description

A Group One winner over 1600m and a metro winner at two over 1200m in her native Argentina, GRETA G is off to a perfect start at stud, with her first foal, the three-year-old TAPIT gelding named PESHWA, already a winner over 1600m. She has an unraced two-year-old SO YOU THINK colt named DO YOU THINK SO in the stable of Griffiths de Kock and a yearling filly by AMERICAN PHAROAH and a weanling colt by SAXON WARRIOR coming through.

Offered in-foal to CHURCHILL, Greta G would be a welcome addition to any commercial broodmare band. By successful broodmare sire EXCHANGE RATE, whose daughters have already produced five individual Group One winners, Greta G is extremely well-related; her second dam is Group One winner GRIFFE DE PARIS, whose 10 foals to race were ALL winners and included the Group One winners LADY DE PARIS, GENEREUX, and GLOBAL HUNTER, while another three of her daughters have gone on to produce Group One winners at stud.

The foal resulting from her CHURCHILL pregnancy will be bred on the same successful GALILEO / DANZIG cross that has already produced the Australasian Group One winners FUNSTAR, JENNIFER ECCLES, and MIRAGE DANCER.
