For sale is Katswiri, a city winning I am Invincible mare.
A pedigree with a strong speed influence, she is a full-sister to Stakes winning sprinter HOLY BLADE and her mother AMPHRITIE was a Stakes winning 2YO.
Katswiri is in foal to highly successful stallion STAR TURN on an early September cover who is doing a fantastic job at stud.
Star Turn boasts an elite 72% winners to runners rate, the highest strike rate of any Top 50 Sire in Australia in 22-23 which is backed up by average progeny earnings of over $95,000.
He is the sire of 7 Stakes winners and a further 8 Stakes horses from only 3 racing crops which includes Gr.1 winner STARTANTES, Gr.3 winners ALSEPHINA and CORDYCEPS SIX, (Sing.) Gr.1 winner GOLDEN MONKEY as well as highly promising Stakes winning 2YO SALTAIRE.
With progeny from ever improving books of mares to come this makes for a highly promising period ahead.
Most importantly people like buying his yearlings. This year alone his yearlings have sold up to $440,000, $250,000, $240,000 etc which is an outstanding effort considering his $25,000 service fee.
Katswiri has a highly promising breeding record and has proven her ability to produce a commercial sale yearling.
Her first foal, Field Wiri was a $200,000 Magic Millions yearling and is a three-time winner and earner of $131k in prize money.
Her unraced 3YO filly by DEEP FIELD, Katcher is in work with leading Queensland trainer Tony Gollan and was an $80,000 yearling purchase by her trainer and John Foote.
She also has a 2YO colt by BRUTAL named Xingxing trained by Team Hawkes who is a very nice style of colt.
I Am Invincible unsurprisingly is an emerging broodmare sire, siring the dams of 2 Stakes winners and a further 4 Stakes horses in the 22-23 season including Gr.2 winner ASFOORA, Stakes winning 2YO HIP HIP Hurrah, Gr.2 placed 2YO Kimochi, etc.
Her Danehill free pedigree and early cover date allows the successful buyer to breed to the stallion of your choice in 2023.
