DIVINE FLASH is a 4 year old mare by Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner DIVINE PROPHET (by Choisir) out of a winning LONHRO mare from the family of Hong Kong superstar AMBER SKY.

Her now 2yo half brother by Dubious made $400,000 at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale to Champion trainer Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott (he was also a $200,000 weanling) while her 1yo half brother by Dirty Work realised $70,000 at the 2023 Inglis Australian Weanling Sale to astute judge Suman Hedge, so there is great upside to come still for this young family.
Dam FLASH OF INNOCENCE is a winning daughter of Champion and Leading Broodmare sire LONHRO and Group 2 winning TRULY WICKED, making her the half-sister to Group 1 winning sprinter and Champion Hong Kong galloper AMBER SKY.
Sire DIVINE PROPHET is still only young in his stud career and is one of only four G1 winning sons of his sire CHOISIR (broodmare sire of star Gr1 mare IN SECRET) standing at stud in Australasia. Divine Prophet's oldest runners are now only 4YOs and he's produced over 80 individual winners including Group-winning 2YO PROMITTO (ATC Skyline S. G2) and G2 Sandown Guineas 3x G3 winner SEE YOU IN HEAVEN, along with stakes placed horses Soothsayer, Fortunate Kiss and Kamitori.
Divine Flash had precocity to race at 2yo and had better ability than we were unfortunately able to see where she placed twice from a limited 5 starts including the closest of 2nds on her 2yo race debut of which she arguably should've won. Soundness issues have subsequently prevented us from ever seeing the best of her with immediate retirement recommended on veterinary advice however she is sound to move on to the next step of her career as a broodmare and with her young siblings showing strong demand in the sale ring, there's great scope for further pedigree upgrades to come.
She will make a lovely broodmare going forward. She is an attractive, strong and compact physical type with a great muscle, hindquarter, plenty of depth and she stands at approximately 15.2hh.
