Description
Extremely well-bred, La Vida Loca is a daughter of multiple New Zealand Champion Sire Savabeel out of the Pins mare Shanstar, a half- sister to group 1 winners Diademe and embellish from the family of Champion Sprinter Sacred Star (Flying Spur.
The dam of three foals to race, all winners, the mare is being sold with a filly at foot by Group 1 winner Castelvecchio (Dundeel) whose yearlings have sold up to $360,000 this season and have been purchases by the likes of Portelli racing Waterhouse/Bott Racing, Anthony Cummings, David Ellis' Te Akau Racing and many more.
Selling with a cover to multiple Group 1 winner Rebel Dane, the sire of Group 1 Golden Slipper and Group 1 Sires' Produce Stakes-winning Champion 2yo Fireburn (who was reared at Goodwood Farm from a weanling), La Vida Loca is a mare by Savabeel, who as a broodmare sire has produced 68 stakes performers led by Group 1 winners Never Been Kissed Icebath and Savatoxi. The resultant foal will be bred on the same Danehill x Savabeel pedigree cross that has produced 13 stakes performers led by Group 1 Goodwood Handicap winner Savastoxi as well as the Group 2 winner Not An Option.
