Description
Although unraced, young mare Proud And Loud lacks nothing on pedigree being by the Coolmore's Pride Of Dubai(Street Cry), himself the sire of 35 stakes performers highlighted by four individual Group 1 winners including the outstanding last Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Pride Of Jenni, whose earnings sit at more than $8..6m, our mare is out of the winning Tale Of The Cat mare Miranda Jane - a sister to the stakes placed Flying Cat, a three-quarter-sister to the Listed winner Calcatta( dam of the Listed winners Tanker and Lady Naturaliste) and also a halt sister to the Listed winner Calchris.
We have sold yearlings from this family up to $170,000 so far this year.
To date the mare has had one foal, a filly by Fastnet Rock's speedy 2yo Acrobat. This filly is bred on the same Danehill x Street Cry pedigree cross that has produced 41 winners from 73 runners led by six stakes performers highlighted by the duel Group 3 winner Military Zone. The mare is back in foal to Acrobat off the back of the quality of her first foal.
Although Pride Of Dubai has not been represented by any runners as a broodmare sire yet, his sire Street Cry is proving to be quite an exciting broodmare sire - with 270 stakes performers to his credit headed by 26 individual Group 1 winners including Farnan, Romantic Warrior, Cascadian, Tom Kitten, Cylinder, Daumier, Broadsiding, and many more. Street Cry son's are also kicking goals as broodmare sire's having produced 142 stakes performers led by three individual Group 1 winners so far.
