Description
Reality Show is a good sized mare who has thrown us 2 lovely foals. She is good to handle in all aspects and her foals have been of good temperament. She is approx.16.1hh and 594kg.
She is a daughter of High Chaparral out of the Danehill mare Lets Get Famous. This makes her a half sister to the very talented Gr3 winning and multiple Group placed Red Ransom mare Lets Make Adeal as well as 7 other winning siblings.
Most interesting is her Grandam is none other than the amazing Let’s Elope – Australian Horse of the Year in 1991/92 and producer of Gr2 winning Outback Joe, Gr2 winner and multiple Gr1 placed Ustinov as well as the stakes performed Caught Courting and Yes I Will.
This is a wonderful family and one that will continue to grow.
As a racehorse, Reality Show was placed at her first start at 2, but only had a further 3 starts before retirement. As a broodmare, she has all before her. Her first foal by Shalaa (Cool Man Show) has had his latest trial on the 23rd April and looks ready for his first race start, while her second foal by Pariah (Real Housewives) flew home from second last at the turn to run 5th at her only start as a two year old. We purchased the mare in foal to Admire Mars and she foaled a stunning filly that sold for $150,000 at the 2024 Gold Coast Yearling sale in January.
Reality Show has a Safeguard weanling which will be retained by the stud and is being sold in foal to that stallion. Safeguard continues to produce excellent results off limited numbers.
He was the 2019 Champion 2yo and First Season sire in WA, 2023 Champion 2yo sire in WA. Overall, he has had 111 runners for 75 winners (67.6% winners to runners) and 10 stakes performers (9% performers to runners and 13.3% stakes performers to winners!!) His progeny has won from 1000m to 1600m on all types of going and train on as three and four year olds.
Reality Show forms part of the unreserved reduction sale for the stud as we wind back our numbers.
