Description
Thorsborne is a well-related, city winning full-sister to Group 2 winning two-year-old Diamond Tathagata, and half-sister to the incredibly fast multiple Stakes winner Ancestry.
This mare has had yearlings sell for up to $200,000 and is the dam of recent Group 1 winner in Hong Kong, Invincible Sage (Thronum). Known as Thron Bone in Australia, the David Hall trained Invincible Sage won the G1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize at Sha Tin in April, defeating Victor The Winner and California Spangle.
While this mare is not in foal, she still remains relatively young and has two unraced progeny to run for her in the stables of Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou and Jerome Hunter.
In the early stages of his career as a broodmare sire Hinchinbrook is showing positive signs, with his most notable progeny in addition to Thron Bone also including Sejardan, Cordyceps Six, Wollombi, Bandi’s Boy and Helios Express. AS a broodmare sire in Hong Kong, Hinchinbrook has produced 3 Stakes winners from only 5 runners.
