Toffee Street is an exceptionally well conformed, correct, strong mare. She was a $320,000 Inglis Premier yearling purchased by Henry Dwyer, precocious enough to run in the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (won by Dosh).
She raced consistently at 2, 3 and 4 years before retiring 100% sound and going in foal on her first cover (LSD 1st Sept), to exciting young sire CAPTIVANT.
Her half-brother by Toronado made $160,000 this year's Inglis Classic Sale. Approximately 16.1-2hh, she is in excellent condition and we expect this mare will throw an outstanding type.

Toffee Street's pedigree suggests she will be an effective broodmare. She is by STREET BOSS who, while in his infancy as a broodmare sire, has already produced 12 stakes winners. His sire Street Cry is the damsire of 24 Group 1 winners worldwide to-date including locals BROADSIDING, CASCADIAN, FARNAN, CYLINDER, DAUMIER, etc.
Her damsire FASTNET ROCK is a Champion Broodmare Sire, while her second damsire STORM CAT and third damsire ALYDAR were also very effective in this role.
Toffee Street traces is direct tail female line to ALMAHMOUD, also ancestress of Danehill, Northern Dancer, Machiavellian and Halo. Her dam Lotta Sugar is strongly linebred to this family as well as being inbred to CRIMSON SAINT (via Royal Academy and Storm Cat), equipping her well for genetic influence.

Captivant was a pre-Christmas 2yo winning the Victory Vein Plate on debut (1000m), running in the top five of each leg of the 2021 2yo Triple Crown and recording the second-fastest G1 Champagne Stakes win in history. Training on at three, Timeform rated him 121 following his highly regarded G1 Caulfield Guineas 2nd behind ANAMOE (by a head).
$550,000 Magic Millions yearling by Written Tycoon’s best son Capitalist from the prolific female family of the blue-hen mare Ride The Rapids. Captivant stood his 2023 season for $27,500 and his first yearlings are selling next year.
