Description

Be Alive is a young mare with a sexy pedigree page and a cover to match.

She is by the Gr1 Golden Slipper winner and Gr1 producing sire Vancouver and is out of Gr1 SAJC Australasian Oaks winner IRISH DARLING, making her a half sister to the sire son of Northern Meteor in Fighting Sun.

She is currently in foal to the very promising son of Zoustar in Zousain, leading first season sire by winners and having already sired a Gr3 winning 2yo in Drifting and Group placed Chateau Miraval. Like himself, Zousain is producing precocious offspring and this has been evident in how the market have reacted to his yearlings through the sale ring in 2024, paying up to $650k, $525k, $500k etc.
