Frankie has lost her mojo, if you can help her find it she has plenty of wins still to come with her nice low benchmark rating, otherwise she’s a beautiful addition to any broodmare band as a daughter of FRANKEL from a SCAT DADDY mare.
This prep has been a disaster, Frankie hates wet tracks and we’ve been plagued with them in South Australia. She’s been training and racing on wet surfaces and whilst we were extremely confident about her chances last start, she raced like a very tired horse. The ownership group have run out of patience and have decided to move her on. She’s a long way off the form that saw her contest the Gr1 Vinery Stud Stakes and ATC Oaks as an Autumn 3yo.
It’s the start of the breeding season and she has a terrific pedigree. She is a well conformed mare that is closely related to the Joint Champion Older Male Stayer of Europe last season, COURAGE MON AMI. Her 2nd Dam is a Gr3 and Listed Winner and her 3rd Dam is multiple Stakes Performed.
She has done her job for us however she can keep racing and go to stud next season. The decision is for her new owners.
Our owners want city class racehorses and whilst FRANKIE’S ME DAD has this level of talent, she’s simply lost her mojo and not performing to our lofty expectations of her. Having been given every opportunity by her ownership group, she has shown that she needs a change of environment or to be covered by an exciting young Stallion.
As such, we have advised our Ownership Team not to persevere any longer. Now that she has turned a 5yo, the time has come to say goodbye to Frankie. She must be on-sold to make room for other young horses to fill the box.
Astute breeders will be aware that FRANKIE’S ME DAD has a lovely page and represents an outstanding breeding opportunity as a daughter of FRANKEL from a SCAT DADDY mare. Bloodlines, don’t come much better than this.
She is at CIARON MAHER’S Ballarat Property and prior to the close of this auction, is available for your inspection by appointment. She is a neat, well conformed individual.
Please note she does have an old scar on her near flank from a paddock accident as a 2yo.
Whilst we share the above details, we always recommend potential purchasers should arrange their own vet inspection to rely upon.
As with all Dynamic Syndications managed horses she is offered unreserved to dissolve the co-ownership and is on the market from the opening bid.
