Description
** Willoughbird is now located at Evergreen Stud Farm.
Willoughbird is 3YO filly by Pride Of Dubai out of the dual winning Squamosa mare, Echo Gem. Willoughbird’s second dam Porcellanus is the dam of 5 foals to race for 4 winners including Quasimoto who was a winner over 1100m and 2nd in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic. This filly hails from the same family as dual Group 1 winner, Coco Cobanna.
Willoughbird is unraced and being offered as a broodmare prospect. After presenting lame on 8th August, she was examined by Gai and Adrian’s veterinary team and radiographs revealed significant sclerosis of the third carpal bones of both knees and a small nondisplaced osteochondral fragment was noted at the front of the third carpal bone in the off fore knee (please see vet report attached).
