Yowie is a 5-year-old mare by the Golden Slipper winning stallion Vancouver carrying an early cover to the 4-time G1 winning sire Blue Point. Yowie was a city winning 2yo on debut who went on to be fourth next start in the Listed Redoute’s Choice Stakes finishing 3 lengths of multiple stakes performer Cannonball.
Yowie is out of a winning full sister to G1 Golden Slipper winning Champion 2-year-old filly Overreach, who is the dam of the Stakes winning Lofty Strike. Lofty Strike will stand his first season at Swettenham Stud this season. She is also a full sister to the dual Stakes winning sire Standout and G3 placed sire Outreach.
Yowie’s early cover to Blue Point offers an early return on investment.
