Quill Ambition is a 3 year old filly bought for $90,000 at the 2023 Magic Millions National Sale. The filly is by Champion Sire Written Tycoon and out of the mare Set Goals, who is by Champion sire Snitzel and comes from an impressive black-type family. Set Goals (Snitzel) is a full sister to 8 time winner and Listed placed mare Group winning mare Cafe Royal. Set Goals comes from the most renown family in Australian racing. That of Champion Sires Redoute's Choice, Manhattan Rain and Al Maher!
The filly has taken time to develop and Ciaron Maher has been very patient with her. She finished her most recent preparation at Bong Bong with a Jump-out victory (see below). The plan is for her to have another month and a half out and then heading back into work in the new year.
Quill Ambition is managed by Pulse Racing Thoroughbreds and any incoming owner will be obliged to comply to the PDS associated to the horse.
