Nakoa is half sister to the Aidan O’Brien trained Opera Singer, Champion 2YO Filly of Europe 2023, having won the Prix Marcel Boussac G1 at Longchamp by 5 lengths. She has trained on to be one of best 3YOs in Europe this year, finishing third in the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas and, at her most recent start, she was a narrow second in the G1 Coronation Stakes over a mile at Royal Ascot on June 21st. Opera Singer holds entries in 8 Group One races this season and it would be a surprise if she didn’t add to her Group One resume in Europe in 2024.

Nakoa is also a full sister to two other Group/Grade 1 winning juveniles. Hit It A Bomb was a winner of the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and Brave Anna, named Champion 2YO Filly of Europe for her generation, won the G1 Cheveley Park Stakes over 1200m. Brave Anna was onsold as broodmare prospect for US$3,000,000 in the 2021 Fasig Tipton Lexington November Sale.

Liscanna, dam of Nakoa, was a G3 winner in Ireland and is by the incomparable sire Sadler’s Wells. Sadler’s Wells features as the broodmare sire of the dams of 12 G1 winners in Australia including Pierro, Miss Finland, Sir Dragonet, Zoutori etc.

Nakoa is by the breed shaping stallion War Front, sire of 118 individual Stakes winners and the broodmare sire of 40 Stakes winners at an incredible rate of 6% Sws/Runners including Passenger, one of the best horses in Europe currently. Mares by War Front from Sadler's Wells mares are responsible for 5 black type horses from 19 runners as broodmares including the Group 2 winner Enola Gay.

Nakoa only had three lifetime starts, placing at 2 of them, and is being sold as a breeding prospect only.
