Description

A half -sister to a Japan Cup winner by a Dubai World Cup winner

A winner at 2 in one of her only two career starts, Bulbinella is a half-sister to Champion Japanese mare and Japan Cup (Gr1) winner Shonan Pandora and 7 other winners including SP pair Cerbiatto & Allnatt. Her dam is a half-sister to leading Japanese Sire and Hong Kong Vase winner Stay Gold, sire of 10 Group 1 winners among his 57 SWs.

Victoire Pisa, the sire of this mare, was a Champion 3YO Colt and Champion Older Horse in Japan and numbered the Dubai World Cup among his 8 victories. He is the sire of Gr1 winner Jeweller among his 15 SWs and although early in his broodmare sire career, his daughters have already produced 4 Group winners to date.

This Danehill-free mare is already the dam of 2 winners from 3 to race including Snitzel 3yo The Torque Factor, a winner on debut for Stuart Kendrick this season. Yearlings from Bulbinella have averaged over $306,000 and have sold for up to $500,000. She has the potential to improve her value quickly with a 2yo colt by Snitzel in work with Paul Messara/Leah Gavranich and a weanling filly by rising star second crop sire Castelvecchio.

Height 17 hh
