Description
A fantastic opportunity to purchase a young mare by outstanding European stallion CAMELOT whose first ever runner won impressively on debut.
CAMELLE is a quality type of mare who was a good racehorse and looks like being an even better broodmare.
She was a $180,000 yearling at the 2017 NZB Sale being a daughter of the stakes winning mare VIANA with Sir Tristram multiple Group winning mare MELORA appearing in the third line.
Bred in New Zealand, Camelle was a multiple winner on the track, placed at Caulfield behind MY PENDANT in a Saturday race before competing in a number of stakes and group races.
As a broodmare, her first foal TARADALE (by Omaha Beach) has had one start for one win after impressively winning his debut in a $30k maiden in Qld. He looks to have plenty of upside.
Her 2yo YES YES YES gelding was a $70k yearling purchase and is showing nice promise in the Charlotte Littlefield stable. He is a couple of weeks away from having his first trial. Her yearling filly by Yes Yes Yes and is being retained by the breeder to race.
Camelle comes with a positive scan to YES YES YES with this mating already producing the talented filly ENDURE who won at Randwick.
CAMELOT firmly sits in the top echelon of sires around the world with 12 Group 1 winners to his name with his 2025 service fee set at €75,000.
His Group 1 stars are headed by last years European champion and Arc winner Bluestocking and multiple group winner Luxembourg. In the Southern Hemisphere, he has left his mark through the deeds of Derby and Underwood Stakes winner Russian Camelot and Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet.
