UPDATE: On the 11th February 2025 Babalola was beaten 0.15 lengths by SALSA FELLOW - Has won his next 2 starts in succession including in a BM64 Handicap at Sandown over 1000m and then on Saturday just gone in an Open 3YO Handicap over 1100m at Flemington. BIG FORMLINE. See below.

Versatile in his racing pattern but certainly at his best when ridden positively. Can put himself in the race (1-4 in the run). Good 4 - Soft 6 range suits best and 1000-1100m preferred distance. Could stretch out 12/1300m off a soft run. Goes well fresh (4:0-2-2 first up / 4:1-1-1 second up) and is very consistent (has run top 3 12 of his 18 starts).
Ideally keep him fresh (3(+) weeks), 1000-1100m, G4-S6 range and he's guaranteed to run well and will win races no doubt.
