Description

Darkest (2017) is a nice, strong, Dawn Approach mare that was unraced due to injury. She has had two very strong colts by Super One from two visits to the stallion and is offered in foal to beautiful looking son of Fastnet Rock, Bull Point.

Re her two Super One foals – The oldest of the Super One foals is a rising three year old gelding who is currently in work. That’s him in the attached image with the unusual white mark on his face. The weanling is on the farm at Dartbrook Downs stud and will be broken in early next year. Darkest is a half sister to Street Cred who holds the 2000m course record at Canberra. She is from a good racing and producing family with her mother, Street Spirit, being Randwick placed over 2000m, winning seven and placing 17 times from 50 starts.

Darkest was mated with Bull Point early last season based on the Goldmine assessment that this mating was a 20/20 match. She resides at Dartbrook Downs stud in Scone and is available for inspection.

We have bred from this family for over ten years and she is for sale as we are getting old and we are reducing our breeding stock.
