Description
De La Fayette is an attractive, correct and easy to handle mare standing 15.3hh. De La Fayette has had one foal by State of Rest and was not served in the 2024 season. She displayed some early ability running 5th in the G3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes as a 2yo and placing multiple times but injury curtailed her career and she was subsequently retired.
Her first foal, a colt by State of Rest, sold for $60,000 at the recent Sydney Inglis Weanling sale. He was an attractive colt, correct and well sized for a first foal.
Written Tycoon is the broodmare sire of smart G1 filly Vibrant Sun and GW Machine Gun Gracie, Ardalio, Tobeornottobe and several other Stakes performers. Written Tycoon mares are sought after for outcrossing to the Danehill line stallions that currently make up a large portion of our stallion ranks.
